Introduction
Do
you know that pollution in rivers and oceans are caused by the trash we throw every
day?
You
and your partner will learn about the different forms to help cleaning the
water of our rivers and oceans. Use the links below to help you and your
partner learn more about these processes.

During this trimester, we have been learning about Environmental
Education. Your job for today is to
make a double side poster about a place you have visited that has pollution
and how it will change if people clean it, and write down some good ideas.

1.
We will talk about places you have
visited, like national parks, rivers, beaches.
2.
We will pick partners to work with,
remember to work quietly and stay focused!
3.
The two of you will look at the websites
to see the pictures of the different places with pollution.
4.
Once you have looked at all the sites, go
around the school and interview some teachers: Have you visited a polluted
river? beach? How it makes you feel? Would you like to help? How?
5.
Make sure you write down the comments!
6.
Talk with your partner about what you
have learned and help each other write 4 complete sentences about what you
learned.

|
|
Once you have finished your projects and your sentences, complete
the following rubric and we will go over what you did best and also what
you can improve on next time.
